Amy is probably the technician that our clients know the best. She has worked at Animal Aid Clinic South since her graduation from Purdue University’s veterinary technician school in 1996. Amy has a son, Ethan, who is 12 and keeps her busy with band and multiple sports. She is also a stepmom to Kaylie, Alexandra, Julian and Emily. Amy and her husband, Abel, have three cats. Chebby is 18 years old and is Amy’s “kitty soul mate”. Charger and Hemi are seven year old littermates. Hemi is Amy’s comic relief. She is cross-eyed, polydactyl (meaning she has lots of extra toes) and is deaf. None of that slows her down! Kane is a black lab who was abandoned at our clinic. Martini, a shih tzu, completes her family. Amy’s special interest at work is the critical care nursing of our hospitalized patients. Her summer hobbies include swimming, gardening and camping. Her winter hobbies include reading and hibernation.
