Kayla Farner has been a part of the Animal Aid Clinic South family since her graduation in May 2017. She attained both her Associate of Applied Science degree and Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary technology from Purdue University. Kayla comes from a family of five who were raised on a farm in Etna Green, IN where they have raised everything from beef cows to chickens. Kayla and her husband have their hands full with an Australian shepherd named Lacey and three cats named Molly, Fancy and Cece. Molly prefers to keep to herself, while Fancy loves nothing more than to be perched on Kayla’s sholder giving kisses. Cece runs laps around the house playing with anything that she can get ahold of. Lacey loves to expend her infinite energy by playing tug-of-war and going on LONG walks with her parents. Kayla enjoys reading, bike riding, camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Her special interests include surgery, dentistry and clinical pathology. She is very excited to be a part of the AACS family and looks forward to getting to know the wonderful clients and patients.
